WEST CORK PHOTOGRAPHER

Fastnet - Ireland's Teardrop

As a teenager I was a keen photographer, and
I worked for a short time with the firm Petersie
Davidson Photography in Rathmines, Dublin,
in the mid 70s.
This experience instilled a lasting interest in
taking pictures.
While working and travelling throughout
the world and Ireland, a camera is
always at hand.
In recent years I have been finding time to
concentrate on my work more, and participated
in my first exhibition in Skibbereen as part of
a group of locally based photographers.
My interest ranges from landscape, wildlife,
clouds and caricature pictures with nautical themes.
New work will be exhibited soon and further plans
are afoot for a picture storybook.
Living in West Cork is a privilege, and being able
to share esperiences with others through
photographs captured in the area makes
it all worthwhile.
